Shannon Slaughter – guitar and lead vocal / Lou Reid – tenor vocal / Barry Berrier – baritone vocal / Trevor Watson – banjo / Ron Inscore – mandolin / Tracy Burcham – bass / Ron Stewart – fiddle. After finishing my stint with the Lonesome River Band, I worked briefly with a group from the Shenandoah area of Virginia called Phoenix. Eddie King, Randy Driskell, David Coffey, and Jim Green have recorded several cd’s and this was one of my favorite tunes that they did. David wrote the song and he really captured my sentiment about God. He is SO GOOD!!!
